A Public Lecture by the distinguished career scientist Dr. Thomas Hussey, Chief Scientist, Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR), Department of Air Force, Arlington, VA USA is arranged at the University of Pune (UoP)  Auditorium, Pune.

The lecture is being scheduled for Monday, December 8th, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM followed by short Q&A session.

Through public lecture event SAMPADA-2008 is providing a unique opportunity to the young high school and college going students to have a benefit of such educational interaction and chance to meet and listening to distinguished scientist(s), thereby receiving inspiration to strive for higher education in various branches of science to serve the nation.

Bus transportation will be provided to and from the YASHADA MD Center. Buses will leave YASHADA MD Center between 6:30 PM 6:45 PM.
