Authors must strictly follow the Instructions and guideline while preparing and submitting the Abstract(s) of their technical paper(s) for Oral, or Poster presentation(s).

Instructions to Authors

  • All ‘Presenting’ authors must register for the SAMPADA-2008 conference to present their oral paper/poster.
  • All Participants of SAMPADA-2008 are invited to submit Abstract for ORAL paper and/or POSTER presentation from June 1st, 2008 until September-30th 2008.
  • Maximum two technical papers or posters per ‘Presenting’ author will be allowed.
  • Each Abstract must be submitted separately from June 1st, 2008 until September-30th 2008 via on-line submission system, or by e-Mail with MS Words document file attachment to your region’s contact person.
  • PDF file or Zip file attachment submission will not be accepted.
  • Abstract(s) submitted after September-30th 2008 may not be reviewed or accepted.

Abstract guideline

  • Only one page Abstract text not exceeding 300 words (excluding the title, names of all authors and their affiliations, keywords, and corresponding author’s contact information ) must be prepared in MS Words document format.
  • Page size: A4 210 x 297 mm.
  • Margins: Left 1.2” (3 cm), Top, Bottom, and Right all 0.8” (2 cm).
  • Abstract must clearly indicate the objectives and results to be discussed for the research work done in the scientific and technical areas specified under the scope and topics of interest,.
  • Abstract(s) must not contain any references, or figures, or tables.
  • Please do not provide hyperlink of any text to any data, figure(s), table(s), and reference(s).
  • Title of Abstract: Bold, Time New Roman Font size 14, Center alignment.
  • Full Names of all Authors: Bold, Time New Roman Font size 12, Center alignment
  • Please always provide any and all authors’ full name, as it has been filled in the Registration Form and Abstract Submission Form
  • Please do not type in any authors’ First Name and Last/Family Name in Abbreviated or Initialized form, for example, the name Rohitkumar H. VORA must not be typed-in as R. H. VORA.
  • Author’s Last/Family Name should be in CAPITAL LETTERS
  • Authors full affiliations and Organization address: Time New Roman Font size 11 Center alignment) should be given above the Abstract text.
  • Please do not list any e-Mail ID(s) with Authors information.
  • Only the ‘Presenting’ author’s name should be underlined.
  • Abstract Text: Times New Roman Font, Size 12 pt.
  • Abstract Text Spacing: Single space.
  • Abstract Text:, Single Column, Justify.
  • Maximum five ‘Keywords’ (Time New Roman Font size 12) must be provided below the Abstract text.
  • Only one ‘Corresponding Author* ’ will be accepted.
  • *Corresponding Author’s contact phone and fax numbers, and e-Mail ID (Time New Roman Font size 12) should be properly given below the ‘Keywords’.

An Example of a hypothetical Abstract is provided at the bottom of the Online Submission of Abstract page for your complete and ready to use Format/Template or reference. Just replace the Title, Authors names and their Affiliations, Abstract Text, Keywords, Corresponding Author’s contact E-mail ID, Phone and Fax number, etc., information with the your such and actual information in full, other necessary technical information relevant to your technical research paper.

ABSTARCT

The 2nd International Symposium on Advanced Materials And Polymers For Aerospace And Defense Applications (SAMPADA-2008) will cover all the important R&D areas and sensitive needs to protect intellectual properties specific to new and emerging materials and polymers, technologies and applications in aerospace and defense industries.

It is expected that the SAMPADA-2008 will provide an exclusive forum for intellectually stimulating and engaging interactions among the leading international scientists to share their recent scientific breakthroughs and achievements, and will attract tremendous interest globally among institutions keen to engage in interactions with the regional bodies to discuss potential business opportunities, as well as various collaborative development of materials and polymer related technologies for aerospace and defense applications.

Technical contributions are welcome in the broad range of relevant areas of the topics of interest given in non-exhaustive list in the SAMPADA-2008 Announcement Brochure - Call for Abstracts. Maximum only one page Abstract text not exceeding 300 words must be prepared in MS Words document format with Font size 12, Time New Roman, Single Line Spacing only. Abstract must clearly indicate the objectives and results of the work done in the scientific and technical areas specified under the scope and topics of interest, to be discussed.
