(b.) Hostel Room Accommodation

For the Foreign and Indian Student Delegates, and Indian Academic Delegates, a limited arrangement is being made in the nearby Institutions’ Hostels.

• Most rooms will be double or multiple berth occupancy rooms

• The daily room rates per berth varies with the institutions

• Room will be reserved on first come first served basis.

(c.) Hotel Accommodation in Pune City

For those Delegates who prefer to stay in the Pune City, the Hotel accommodation will be available at the room rates costing from US $ 50 to US $ 150 per day.

These Delegates are encouraged to book their hotel accommodations well in advance directly through a reputed travel agent in their own country.

November to February is tourist season in Pune. Most Hotel of choice will be solidly booked by early November.

(d.) Transportation from Mumbai International Airport

A Private and Secured Transportation Rental Service (Chauffeured Vehicle) is being planned to assist Foreign Delegate who are arriving in the late evenings to travel from the Mumbai international Airport known as the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (located at Sahar, Mumbai) to the YASHADA Residential Facility, Pune or Pune City Hotels.

This Private Transportation Rental Service will be available just outside the Airport terminal, in the Parking Lot

Private and Secure Transportation Rental Service to travel to Pune will be available to rent for single journey every two to three hour after 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (next day) starting from Friday, December 5th, Saturday 6th, and Sunday 7th, 2008

SAMPADA-2008 volunteer(s) will be there to assist you to find the chauffeured vehicle and collect the Rental fee.

The One Way Rate is fixed at Indian Rupee (IN Rs.) 4250.00 per person payable at the time of embarking at the Airport.

This Private Transportation Service must be booked in advance via e-mail before December 1st, 2008.

SAMPADA-2008 Secretariat Office will assist our foreign delegates who avail to this service in making sure that they have a Secured Private Transportation Service (Chauffeured Vehicle) to their onward journey to Pune City from the Mumbai international Airport.

The traveling time between Mumbai International Airport to Pune City approximately will be about 4 to 5 hours with two rest stops on the way.

Please also note that this service will be available for a return trip to Mumbai Airport from Thursday December 11th, 2008 to Saturday December 13th, 2008 from morning 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM daily .

The Return One Way Transportation Rate is also fixed at Indian Rupee (IN Rs.) 4250.00 per person.
